Welcome
to the third edition of the international theatre festival HALBSTARK for kids from 9- to 13-years of age!
From October 23 to October 28, 2014, 16 exceptional theatre pieces from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Slovenia, Switzerland and Italy will be our guests in Münster and its surrounding region. Whether a play, dance theatre, music theatre, or object theatre: All of the performances deal very closely with the issues and thoughts of their young viewers.

Festival closing
October 28: After six days full of wonderful moments, inspiring theater experiences and exciting encounters, HALBSTARK is coming to an end. Join us tonight for the premiere of "Umzüge" and a final party at Theater in der Meerwiese - we will be happy to see you there!

TRASHedy
How many plastic cups does one use in the course of a lifetime? Everyone knows how much our daily consumption is damaging the environment. Despite this fact or maybe precisely because of it “TRASHedy” wants to encourage reflection about our own behaviour and the protection of the environment.
Discourse
With its programme of international guest performances, HALBSTARK is also a forum for creative, cross-border dialogues.
Theatre discussions about issues of current interest are directed at both the experts and the interested festival visitors.
