Primary and secondary school children from Muenster and the surrounding region have been emailing, chatting and skyping with artists from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark.

In the lead up to the festival their questions are allowing them to get a real insight into the work of the theatre professionals. How do the theatre professionals prepare? How will which stories get told? How are concepts, back drops and props created? They are getting to know about the work of actors, dramatists and technicians.

The children also take to the stage themselves in small theatre workshops with the artistic directors as well as art and theatre teachers from Muenster.

During the festival they will finally meet their mentor groups personally.
